i was wondering if anyone switched out the stock 6" Bose sub. If you did what did you replace with it and how much better was it. I think there is pretty good bass response for a stock 6" woofer i was wondering if changing it would give me a little more.

 

I know JL makes the 6W0, it is 6.5" and Rockford Fosgate makes the HE RFP4406 and the HE RFP4806, both 6 3/4" subs at 4 ohms and 8 ohms.

I am not familiar with the stock Bose system... is that 6" sub in a box or free air? If it is free air, you wouldn't want to use either of those subs. If it is sealed... go with which ever one will fit.

The Bose sub is in a ported enclosure, and it is 6" sub while those you mentioned are 6.5.. they wont fit...
