Subwoofer ?
Subwoofer ?
I no this isnt an Fbody question but i lounge around here often and no there are many knowledgable people on this site and gm truck forums is very slow to respond. But heres the question.
Wanting to put the sub from my old truck into my new truck with the addition of a new box. The trucks an 09 sierra denali and was looking at subthump boxs. I was wanting the dual ten box with amp space but now worried there wont be enough air space
I have 2 10" apline type E and 500watt mono alpine amp.
The box is rated at .6 cu ft each air space and i think the subs require more. If i still used this box does anyone no how this will effect the sound.
This set up sounded great in my 04 extended cab off the stock headunit.
Hoping anyone with audio knowledge or personal experience can help as i no a lot of guys on here also have trucks.

The Alpine type E needs a minimum of .6 cu.ft. of air space, So it should be fine.
IMO just add about .6 lb. of poly-fill to the enclosure since it's on low side of the recommended size.
