Sub enclosure

I have a 99' Z28 and I was wondering if anyone had the blueprints for a custom sub enclosure that fits in the back well..

Hit me up with an email

why discourage him from building his own box? if he wants to build his own don't force the subthump boxes down his throat.....

Sorry just quite irritated

Just get a tape measure and measure it yourself and start building, no blueprints needed... good luck.

heres the link to a guys page. I just saw it yesterday, theres a step-by-step on how to make a custom fiber glass enclosure. I'll give it try... someday. why don't you. I'll tell you. It looks easier, and faster than dealing with MDF. that thing is a mess. but more expensive, and way better looking. I have to say.

I'm gonna have to say that fiberglass is a bit more involved than an MDF enclosure. It requires alot more preping and quite a bit more work. Blue prints aren't really needed, just measure and get to building. There's not really any secret to making a box. Use MDF, predrill your holes, use Liquid Nails and seal it with silicone on the seams inside. Having the right power tools is VERY useful, but I built my first box with a rotozip and a cheapo electric saw. It was a challenge and would have gone better if I had all the equipment I do today. If you're wanting to try fiberglass, I recomend a random orbital sander with a vaccum attachment and a little practice on a small project before you get started on a big one.

It's only a bitch if you don't have the right tools. However this is what I built at my Roadshop with the right stuff and it was awsome. I just want to get smaller subs. So I am selling it on ebay. Fits like a glove....

You could always take a short trip over to my place. You're about 50 miles away and I could help you.

I vote you take Steve up on the offer, he's a great guy and has everything you would need and more experience than you can throw a shoe at.
