Question Stock Stereo

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew the wattage of the stock 'Bose' CD stereo in the 95' Z28. Well thanks in ahead. Later

The bose cd players in our cars are actually very low wattage. The thing is that all the speakers all have small amplifiers. This means that you have to changed the speakers and head unit at the same time if you want to change either. I ended up getting 4 7" kendwood speakers and a nice cd player installed for around $650 and it sounds absolutely amazing.

Although it is true that the stock HU's are low wattage, it is not true that you must replace the entire system when switching HU's. All you have to do is make sure you hook up the 'remote' wire so it will kick on the speaker amps with the HU. I would change the speakers eventually but this setup is definately servicable.
