What size is the HU's fuse? You would want to use a DC power supply that can AT LEAST provide that much current or more. Preferably more.

Ok so if stereo has a 20 amp fuse then I need at least a 20 amp power supply. Is that right?

Yes, if you try to use a power supply smaller than that the HU will cut out on you when you try to crank it up.

Ok stereo has 10amp fuse so I ordered 12amp power supply. Last question: I would assume both the constant and switched power lines from stereo just connect to power supply together. Is this correct? Power supply has two screw connectors one for ground and one for power.

Yes, that is the correct connection. If you want to retain your station presets you'll need to leave the power supply ON all the time.
