Is it possible to replace the lights on the steering wheel radio controls? I got the switch out, just need to know what kind of light to put in it

Ok, well I wasnt able to find anything. Ive been looking for a while now. Once you get the piece out, de solder the bulb, you can take it to Radio Shack. Im sure they will be able to match something up. I tried using a red LED before, it was reaaaaly dim. Youll need a bulb, then ya just slip the little red condom back over it.

I got a deal on the bulbs and bought a ton of 'em. I have also found replacement micro tactile switches for inside those boogers too. I just have to get the right size.

I'll be doing the repairs for others here soon. I've got an extra set of controls (the teardrop shaped ones) to refurbish and will use those to send out when someone sends me a little money (maybe $10 or so) and their old ones. New switches and bulbs..
