Re: Stealth Box Question

My understanding is that MDF (partical board-like material) is best for stealth boxes. I think that MTX makes theirs out of plastic, as does a few other brands. Subthump makes theirs from from the MDF material.

I bought a Subthump. Threw an Alpine Type-R 10" into it, and away I went. It's a real nice pairing.

I run the exact same setup off my stock HU with about 450 watts run through it and it sounds great. i know the wattage is a little overkill, but I wouldn't to make sure to give it the power it needed.

Re: Stealth Box Question

I have the 10" stealth box in my '96 Camaro.

In it, I have the Alpine Type-R sub powered by a JBL 300.1

Sounds very nice.

Re: Stealth Box Question

The stealth boxes are cool I just can't justify paying for it when you could get a box and 2 10's for the same price
