Speaker size

I have a 95 Z28 with the Bose system. 2 door, 2 rear pillar, and the sub. what size speakers fit to replace them. At sounddomain.com the 7" is show to go in with no modification. Is this right? would like to know before I buy them. Thanks

If you replace the speakers you're gonna have to replace the BOSE HU and amps too. BOSE uses low impedance speakers with their amplifier modules so you can't just drop in any speaker to replace them.

Oh OK, thats different then. You need the 6-3/4" speakers. Also called oversized 6-1/2" speakers.

The BOSE system came with either 3 or 5 speakers from the factory.
