On the monsoons, or in the 02 z28 (same thing), i noticed that the very front speakers, in the doors, have 4 wires instead of two. all replacement speakers i've gotten only have to plug ins. does anyone have any reccomendations for what i should do, or if there are speakers out there that have 4 connectors. thank you much.

 

The reason for the 4 wires is that the factory speakers are bi-amped. The HU powers the tweets and the POS Monsoon amp powers the mid-woofers.

As for what to do... thats up to you. If it were up to me I would scrap the entire POS Monsoon system.
