Question Automatic headlights

I have a 2000 V6 5speed Camaro and I would like to disable the automatic headlight feature. I would like to be able to manually turn the headlights on and off when I want to.

Little help please.

Not possitive about yours or if it works on newer models but in all the other GM's, if you start your car with the parking break on(man or auto), your lights won't come on unless you turn them on. Just temp fix/sugestion till you do it permanent.
