speaker grills rattling

I have a 97 camaro with the monsoon system, and when i turn it up or im playing a song with quite a bit of bass, the speaker grills rattle. You can touch them and they are obviously loose. Would new grills fix this? or is it actually a problem in the panels? Also is there any place that sells speaker grills or will i just have to find some on ebay?
Thanks,
Lane

Re: speaker grills rattling

lol this brings up old memories of a few yrs ago. a friend of mine both had 94's and we had to get a small piece of paper and fold it up and put it in between the grill and the plastic to stop the rattling. it used to annoy the **** out of us. but it was the cheapest/easiest way to fix it.

lol, that is EXACTLY how I feel in every way, it keeps getting on my last nerve, and that is also EXACTLY how i have it fixed right now, but i wanna find a more permanent fix. Did you ever do anything besides just sticking the paper in?
Thnx,
Lane

Re: speaker grills rattling

Some folks have used small pieces of adhesive backed foam weather stripping on the backs of the grills to prevent them from rattling.
