Sound Deadening Rules!
Sound Deadening Rules!
I bought 50 sq. ft. of B-quiet extreme from www.b-quiet.com last week and got around to installing it this weekend and yesterday. On Sunday I did both of my doors, but I didnt notice that much of a difference. I didnt think I would with just the doors. Last night I ripped my trunk apart and lined it too. I cant believe how much louder my 6x9s sound now! I still have to do the very back of my trunk where the lights are, and the trunklid, but so far WOW! I had to turn down my loudness settings on my head unit from mid to low and it was still too loud! I cant wait for this summer when I can take my seats and carpet out of the interior so I can line all that with sound deadener too!
I know how you feel. I bought Brown Bread from B-Quiet.com as well. I currently have 70 sq/ft installed but as soon as it warms up I'm going to be installing another 70 sq/ft. Should be pretty sweet.
I'm using so much because I'm doing two to three layers everywhere I install it.
Here's some pictures of me installing it.

Rockin' job Project Camaro. Here's a hint, since you are going so extreme with the sound deadening. Make sure you get as much on the firewall up front as you can. You can really get pretty high with the dash still in place. You can also remove the big panel next to the front window to get even more of it deadend.
