alpine TYpe R, VERY GOOD SPEAkers compared to sony, Ive tested alot of speakers in those accoustics rooms, and they have by far sounded the absolute boes. i suggest some 6 3/4 and a 6 3/4 component set, along with a 10" type r sub. HEY, I like that idea, as a matter of fact im goign to save up for that.

 

I ordered the 6 3/4 components and the 6 3/4 coaxials with a 50wx4 MTX amp. When I do aa sub it will be a Brahma 12" in a sealed box.

.I like Polk, I had a pair of EX 6X9 they pumped out so much bass people thought I had a small sub in the back. I will buy their product again if given the chance, especially the new Polk/MOMO speakers

 

I have the EX3 6x9s in my GTP with a PPI amp going to them, everyone thinks I have a sub too.

 

I had a pair of Boston Acoustic 6x9, powered by a Pioneer Premier amp...They thumped like a set of subs.

 

i wish my friends could see this, they all think sony is the ONLY car audio manufacturer out there. I told them i was thinking of getting some alpine or infinity equipment, and they all were like, "yeah if you want some crappy sounding music"

I dont know about their subs... but have heard a great-many things about their 6x9, etc..
