I have a 95 vert and need a little help. I have a small 6" powered bazooka tube and was wondering where I can get a remote source from. I don't think the verts have external factory amps do they? If so I have no clue where it is. Also I have a small 40watt amp and was wondering if it would be too much for the factory bose speakers. The amp is old BTW and it doesn't use RCA inputs but it uses speaker inputs(I know, it's ****) Are the factory bose speakers just running off the factory deck power?

 

In the fuse block next to the door on the dashboard is a 12 volt source that will turn off when the power is turned off. This is where I hoked my amp remote 12 volt source to. Its kind of a spare port for such things. Just go buy the wire plug that goes on it. Very easy. Not sure about your other question.

The amp idea was just that, an idea which won't work very well.
