my passenger side is getting like that, ill probably have to replace by summer. already changed the driver side, it just stopped one day and wouldnt go up, same thing with my friend's fbody just slowed slowed then one day stopped. power windows in fbodies suck for some reason GM really cheaped out on them i guess.

The motor is most likely the problem. Look in the LT1 tech and search for "power window motor". Shoebox has step by step directions on his site for replacing.

I recently replaced mine as well. I used the Cardone brand motor. It is a universal motor, so either drivers and passenger's side can be replaced with it. It was $50 from Checker's after $5 core charge. It took me quite a while, and lots of aggrevation, but it really wasn't too hard at all.

wasn't too aggrevating...the longest part was trying to remove the sounddeadning off the car door
