Arrow Should I go with the cheaper or more highend setup?

Ok I'm getting close to upgrading my system, odds are I will start building the box and start to buy everythhing in like late Jan. or early Feb. I will be taking out my back seats and odds are I will be putting my amps in the trunk and leaving the sub where the back seats where.
Well here is my question, right now I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 360a2. I could do two things, I could sell the amp and the subs that it is powering and buy an MTX 81000D and use it to power one Stroker 12. Or I could just sell my subs and keep the Punch amp and get one VEGA series 154 (or maybe a 15D4). The Stroker setup would be louder but is it really worth all the extra money?

Thanks for the help,

Chris

I would go with the less expensive of the two. It's not likely that you'll be able to hear enough of a difference to justify the added cost. I went with the less expensive Alpine Type-S subwoofer over the Type-R subwoofer and I have no regrets at all. I couldn't be happier with the Type-S.

I just took my stereo out of my car, and I might sell my sub-box

(see my site)

The box it's made of firberglass and you can change the top (3/4 mdf) for any kind of size subs (Not that hard or time consuming compare to re-do the entire box)

I might put it for sell for $100 plus s&h
please tell me what you think

If you pay that much for a sub it should at least be better than everything half its price... IE Brahma.
