I voted no, because that is one helluva clean install and looks like you speant a lot of time on it. Unless your planning on getting new subs I would definately keep your current set-up.

Just curious, since your not planning on doing something different with your subs why were you thinking about putting in a new one? Were ya thinking about porting it? Because thats about the only thing I'd consider changing, but I don't see why you'd need to those monsters must put out! Ever been metered?

You must have some very dark tint or live in a very very crime free area, cuz I would think at least your amps would be stolen in about 10 seconds. It's nice and original, but not something I'd ever do.

What are you hoping to achieve by building a new box? I voted no because that's looks pretty clean already. Unless you want to port..... I wouldn't fix something that isin't broken.

i guess maybe i shoulda described more, im not gonna prt it (dont like the sound) i was meaning like more rounded, made of fiberglass. and molded.... as for where i live there isnt much crime, here but i have them screwd down with an odd type of screw that is a hex plus 1 i dont know what youd call that either way its a seven pinted star with a round pin in the middle, i dont think car stereo theives would really carry around something short of a saw that could get them out without damaging them....
but if your wondering i live in north dakota, we leave our cars and houses unlocked usually... i dunno barely any crime

yeah and my tint is 6% (light passes through)
and front is 40%

i can understand that some subs don't do as well as others ported and i am not sure how those particular ones sound ported. Anyways i say go for the glassed enclosure if you like.

I said no too, the only reason I could see for changing that setup would be if y ou have t-tops and I'm presuming you don't so I would stick with what you have. Put the money you would have spent on the fiberglass enclosure toward some performance or appearance mods. GOod Luck!
