i forgot to add that with the alternator upgrade you will be ready for more improvements down the road, but it is not really necessary. you could just use a band aid if you have more light dimming than you like and put a cap in there, but a new alternator is a better "real" fix if you plan on running more power down the road.

Anyone with some knowhow in Car Audio will know that sealed boxes are the way to go. True, ported boxes achieve a higher SPL, but since the goal of this individual is SQ, sealed would be the better choice. Ported boxes only play certain frequencies well. It's kinda hard to choose just one bass frequency that you prefer.

For absolute SQ, I wouldn't even bother running rear fill (Rear speakers). Get a quality set of components up front and quality subs in the rear. I would even venture to say that you would need at most one sub.

Best way to make it all sound good is make sure your system has a lot of clean power to work with (100 watts RMS for the components, and about 50 watts peak over the peak rating of your sub), and get some Brown Bread of Dynamat. FBodies rattle like crazy.
