Security light won't go off?

Security light won't go off?
I have a 1998 camaro I got cheap and had a new motor put in (V6). I am not
sure what if any alarm system it has in it, but the security light stays on all the time. Everything else works fine. I just want it to go away. What can I cut, pull, or get rid of to make the light disappear? Thanks
