does a cd player have to be "sat radio ready" to work with a sirius xact satellite radio receiver? can you just get one with an aux imput and plug it in or does it need to be sat radio ready?

if you get a sirius reciever that works through the headunit then yes. if you get a satelite radio unit that is portable, then no, you can install it on any radio, it will sound best if you have an aux input to put the sound through
