Running Power Wire?

I am about to install a system in my car in a little while and I was wondering how the hell you get the power wire through the firewall on the passenger side? I see one hole way back behind the computer but it is impossible to reach. Anybody have any other suggestions?

It's not impossible to reach, you need to take the PCM out, then just route the wires through that grommet...

That's about the only way, unless you feel like drilling a hole in the firewall...

I ran it exactly through there. I removed the running board type dealie indoor panel and the PCM, and it's pretty much a straight shot from there. I suggest running it from the passenger compartment up into the engine bay, easie to manuver that way

Thumbs up

I got it all done and it is no where to be seen. It was a great job of hiding the wire. Thanks for the help guys!

what size did you use? i was able to hide my 2 and 1/0 nicely, but still got a bind where the seats attach to the frame.. but it's all good seeing that there is a huge briefcase size hump on the floorboard anyway!

I've got an 8 gauge kit so it was no problem at all hiding it. I just kept it along the passenger side and hid it underneath all of the trim. It took some time but it is definitely worth it!
