what are the differneces between the RK sport and GM power antenna? is one any better than the other? better reception? etc?

also how do you wire it up to come down when the radio is off?

An antenna is an antenna. Difference may be tha style of the antenna to give a retro look or something. I like the short antena that look like new school walkie talkie antenas. Anyways...I believe you hook the wire up to your decks power "antena wire". It should be labled if you have an aftermarket deck. If you have a stock deck in or have no idea, I would think that you put the antena wire to your deck power wire between the deck and the fuse. Please someone correct me if I am wrong but that's what I would do.
If your deck is supplied off the original harness, the deck will have no power when you take the key out the ignition and open the door. If that's the case, splice the deck power wire and crimp the antena wire to it with the appropriate connectors, don't solely use just electrical tape..that's ghetto rigging..use connectors thingys from radio shack. The antenna should go down when the power is lost and power will be lost when you take the key out the ignition when deck is using factory harness for power. Anyhow...that should be about it but I would get a second opinion before you run off and do it. I thought I'd shoot some ideas out there since that's what I would do if i had to do this. But there may be a better way so wait for another post or something.
