Retrieving stock stereo security code

Ok, new to the audio forum...... Pioneer deck went out...is there a way to retrieve the security code on my stock deck without taking it to the dealer and paying $.

I went to the dealer and they pulled the code for free. So you may want to just ask them to see if they'll do it. Just put the deck in the car so they don't think it's stolen.

I guess I'll try doing that. Last time...I took my folks Monte Carlo in and they wanted $30 to retrieve the code and my folks just laffed. I'll try different locations and if they give me any crap, I'll offer them my lil cousins girl scout cookies. The chocolate mints..lol..darn dealership..blah!

what delco lock radio do you have ??? i have the intructions for all
delco radios and i have a dealer code so you can call in the scrambled code and get the new code. but i cant do it today b ecause i hafta work but i can get it tommorrow and email it to ya

Unlocked it over the weekend...I skimmed through the multiple threads and found the info. Instructions I found needs a little bit of updating but other than that, it worked fine. sweet!
