Cd Changer "Tic"

I just installed my Jvc 1500RF cd changer in m firebird, and when playing some music that is softer at times, i hear a soft "tic" noise, this noise gets louder with volume and even ocuors when there is no music being played, when the disc is being changed or the song is being changed. I have already reset the unit, cleaned the stock deck, and checked all of my connections. I was hoping any of you had any advice.

How is this changer connected to the stereo? Is it an FM modulator setup or did you add the changer to an existing JVC HU? By the RF in the model number I'm guessing it's an FM modulator changer.
