Replacement Convertible Top Switch + Traction Control - Impossible to Find!

Hello all, my convertible switch bit the dust recently and I have been searching far and wide for a replacement. The tricky bit is my car has ABS with traction control AND is a convertible. I have been able to find a replacement convertible switch from Hawks Motorsports/Ebay but what I need is both switches on one bezel (see image below).

Right now the only option i'm left with is tapping the existing wiring and hooking up a momentary DPDT switch in some hidden spot.

Does anyone have any tips or suppliers or solutions? Finding a convertible with abs/tcs in the pick and pull here for my model is a very rare thing. I haven't been able to determine the GM Part # either for the combine buttons

Thanks!

I assume this is panel with switch for convert only (no ASR) you found at Hawk's. Hopefully the switch could be separated and moved to your 2-switch panel.

Yup that's the one. I'm going to order it and see, but I don't have high hopes as the module from hawks looks to be 80%ish of the panel width. I can perhaps just wire the ASR switch to a tucked away momentary button instead somewhere.

Why DPDT? I get why you’d need SPDT; what’s the second pole for?

The part number you want is 10195559. Which, of course, I can’t find for sale anywhere.

I’m with Fred though; buy the one from Hawks and then just move the switch to your existing panel.

Thanks for the P/N! Wish me luck transplanting the switch into the old bezel

From what I've gathered to switch the polarity. There are 4 wires, A positive and negative from the battery, and two wires running to the top motor. Here's a pic of the crossover - you would attach +/- to the center terminals and run the motor wires on the remaining two terminals.

Just an update for anyone stumbling upon this. The OEM convertible top and traction control switches use two seperate plugs that plug into a single module which houses both buttons. This means you can use the convertible top switch from hawks but will have to leave the traction control portion unplugged. It also means that no you cannot extract the switching mechanizm from the replacement part and put that in to replace the OEM convertible switch .

OK! Another update for the <1% Camaro owners with a 95 Convertible with ABS: The Hawks convertible tops switch can be easily disassmbled and put into the stock plastic housing maintaining the original look 100%! Also the switches themselves can be fully dissasmbled too. A plastic nub about half the size of a grain of rice had melted/broken off inside the switch. After cleaning the contacts, i was able to use a drop of plastic epoxy to replace the nub and it works exactly like new again!

Yes, here is the original Bezel with all the components fully disassembled (2nd Picture is the other side of each component).
In my case the Convertible top switch was not working, and the ASR backlight was burnt out. The switch from Hawks can be dissambled (The 3 components together on the left of the picture) from it's single switch bezel, and slides right into the "plastic holder" behind the bezel which the ASR and Convertible top contacts slide through (2nd from Right bottom component). The ASR light I was able to remove and replace with some soldering and a new bulb. Because I'm reusing the stock Plastic Holder every connection point is the same for the connectors.

For anyone curious, I was able to repair the switch by putting glue on the tiny nube in the 2nd picture, 2nd piece from the left - nub is on the lower right side.
