Remote Start?

Well i really need to get a remote start for my car otherwise i will freeze this winter. I used to have one on my Xtreme but it was a gift so i didnt know what exactly it was.
I am lookin for a remote start kit with NO alarm. Thats right i do not want an alarm on my car.
So if you guys could give me some suggestions on a good remote start with keyless entry but NO ALARM.

Thanx

Go with a DEI product.
They make Viper, Clifford, Python, etc.

If you look at their website, they have a remote start sytem marketed under the Viper, Rattler, Python, Valet, and Sidewinder brand names.
If you really just want a remote start, then I would just go with which ever one you can get cheapest. From the looks of it, the Rattler is probably going to be the cheapest. You can't really go wrong with DEI, just make sure to get it from an authorized dealer.

Use their dealer locator to find your nearest dealer.

I am the mobile installation manager for a Bestbuy in CT and the do-it-yourself kit is fine but for a simple car. Bypassing the VATS system and doing the locks in a camaro can be a PIA. Best bet is to just have it put in professionally if you don't know what you are doing. Also the camaros have a second ignition wire that controls the heat. If it's not hooked up right the radio will turn on but not the heat.
The Avital 4000 is a nice remote start if you don't want it to lock and unlock your doors. If you do want keyless than the 4200 is good. The Viper and Clifford label from DEI are too expensive for the same brain. The Python and the Sidewinder don't have quite as good of a range either. These are just my opinions though from past install of these units. If you wanted to go alittle more expensive than I would go with either Clifford or Viper.
