Radio Swap

So I was wondering if anyone knows if a stereo out of a newer GM would work in my '98 Z. I like the in unit 6 disc changer and RDS features of the newer units. Also, Sirius has a unit that ties straight into those stereos. So, anybody know? What are the chances the wiring harness fits too?

you would have to get a harness for the newer radio and wire that to a harness for your car like you were doing an aftermarket radio in it. Then you would have to fab something up becasue the newer radios are bigger than the camaro radio. It could work though.

except the sirius tuner is not in the radio it is in the truck wiring, it would be a lot easier to get an aftermarket sirius tuner designed to work with factory radio. And the radio would be a tight fit, the harness is not the same.
