Radar Detector/Scrambler

For those of you who have radar detectors and scramblers, what is the best unit out? If not the best, which is a decently priced unit that works good? I heard the Valentine 1 was good, but $$$.

Then why do they claim they will pay a ticket if you get one?

checkout the Escort SR-7. It is a radar detector and scrambler. The scrambler goes on your front license plate to scramble police radar detectors.

muscle mustangs and fast fords did a test on it last year sometime and they said it worked. They reported that they were going 90 and when they hit the car with a radar gun it wouldnt read tille the car was just about to past. The radar detector would go off like crazy to let you know to slow down.

detecting radar is one thing but being able to scrammble it is another, would be kool going about 100 and the trooper cant get a reading

I have a Valentine 1. I know it is very expensive but IMHO it is well worth it. Mine has saved me several times, enough to pay for itself. The amount of warning time it gives you is incredible.

I use the Passport 7500, I havn't had a speeding ticket (when it's been on :-/ ) since i got it, except for one, but i had forgotten it put it on, lol.

And my friend uses the 8500, which works even better. When we are driving around , it'll go off, and we'll be looking fer the cop, and a mile or so down the road he finally pops up. its good stuff
