Head unit displaying "E20?"

Head unit displaying "E20?"
My '97 Monsoon CD head unit will display "E20" sometimes when I try to put a CD in. Then a few days later the head unit will accept the same CD and not throw an "E20" code. What's the deal with this? None of the CDs are dirty/scratched and the humidity has never been that high either. Any way to fix this or an explanation of what this damn "E20" means?
