yes you can use a line out converter to run rcas from your factory radio, but in my experience you will get better sound from an aftermarket deck. as for the remote wire you cand find it by using a test light. just find the wire that gets 12V with the key in the on postiton. im pretty sure the yellow wire is the 12V ignition wire, and the orange wire is constant 12V. dont kill me if its not hope this helps!

Correct. You can use the orange, just be sure to put a switch on the remote lead then. With the radio off, the amp will still be on, and will cause nasty feedback.

You can also use the pink (power antenna) wire if you have it.

that may or may not work. When I use to work for an audio shop, when we tried that lead, it didn't work. We would get voltage when the radio turned on but for some reason it wouldn't turn the amp on.

Are you talking the pink wire? I know T/A's have the power antenna, and camaros dont. Maybe the radio in the Camaro's doesnt energize the power antenna wire, cause it obviously doesnt have one. Thats why I was unsure.

Doh, you said it got voltage. How much? If it was anything 12.5 and over it should have definatly kicked the amp on.
