Question about wireing harnesses?

I purchased a Pioneer Premier DEH-P8500MP cd player, it stopped working and needed a new motor... The place i bought it from had a repair only policy. It took 6 months to get back.

Well, i dont know what caused it to crap out, but the wireing harness i used my friend put it on it had a bunch of sockets and plugs it didnt need and looked ghettoed up.... It may have been the reason the cd player broke but on to my question.

I dont want to use that harness.. I also dont want to pay Best Buy or anyone $40 to put in a CD player when i can do it myself in 2 minutes. All i need is a wireing harness to connect the factor wire to the CD player and the AM/FM antenna connection and thats it.. only two plugs.... Where would i get this specific harness???

Are you talking about the harness that plugs into the pioneer radio, or the harness that plugs into the factory harness? The second paragraph is hard to understand.

The harness that connects to the factory harness to the pioneer CD player.... I ended up going to Circuit City and they hooked me up with a nice clean harness so im straight now....

Does anyone else have any evperience with the pioneer or premier DEH-P8500MP head unit????
