Putting a Ford HU in a 95 Z28

I just got a Blaupunkt mp3/cd player that was originally in an Explorer. It looks like it might fit in my camaro dash with a little work. I understand the wiring harness is different with the Fords than in any GM car. Does anyone know how i could wire it up right in my Camaro?

Get a GM wiring harness from your local car stereo shop.

Is thi an aftermarket Blau Headunit? or is it the factory unit... I know many new factory headunits have the manufacturer name on it, and I know ford uses Blaupunkt.

If thats the case Metra sells both the in aand out harnesses... Get the plug in from the ford vehicle and then the regular harness to add an aftermarket stereo for a GM vehicle... the wires will match up color for color, connect em all and yourre good.

Hopefully its not externally amped or you will have problems...
