Problems with Amp

I have a 2001 Camaro SS with the stock Monsoon system. I also have 2 Soundstream SPL 12's running off of a Boss AVA 550. I ran the same system on my old Monte Carlo with one of those generic AC Delco head units and it sounded really good.

The problem is, I took it in last weekend to have the amp installed. It sounded like crap when I got the car back. There is a ton of distortion at low volume levels among other problems.

Im going to redo the install, has anyone done a similar install, or does anyone have descriptions of the pinouts on the back of the head unit?

Wierd. That amp sure isnt helping you tho. How does it sound on full volume? Check the ploarity of the subs and the LOC. Where did they get the wires for the LOC, that could be part of the problem. I reccomend getting them behind the radio, before theyre amped by the POS Monsoon amp...
