Problem with Taillight Bulb

My passenger side center taillight bulb is acting screwy. When i put the hazards on it will flash, but very dim compared to the other 3 that flash. When i have the parking lamps on also, it will flash dim, but opposite of the bulb right next to it. It intermittenly won't flash when i signal right, it will stay solid. I thought it might be the flasher but then i figured it probably has something to do with that tail light bulb.

The bulb is ruled out, switched the bulbs and it does the same thing on the same socket.
When back probing the ground wire i get 0-1 ohms, when touching the metal inner part of the socket, the part that gives the bulb ground, I get about 5 ohms. The other sockets all have 1-2 ohms on that inner part also.
Dosn't seem like it would to me but could that 3ohm difference be the cause of this? Should I try replacing the socket? Anything else I should be checking to figure this out?

Re: Problem with Taillight Bulb

i had the same problem in a car but i forget how i fixed it. i think it was shorting somewhere or a fuse problem, don't replace the socket yet, it was a simple fix but i forget what caused it on my car
