Exclamation Plz help me on the wiring on this sub install!!!

Ok, right now I have some MB Quart 10's in my g/f's car, but come Tuesday I got her two 15's that I'm gonna replace the 10's with.

Ok, here's the amp she's using:
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/carau....asp?sku=10721

Here's the subs that are going in it:
http://www.sfxaudio.com/products/dis...p?ProdId=30276

First, I know the amp is a 4 channel amp, but that's beside the point, it's what I'm using for this. So, since the subs are 4 ohms, and the amp is stable at 2 ohms in 2 channel, so from what I understand, I should wire the subs up in parallel mode? Cause what I've read is that if they're parallel, the resistance will be halfed, so they'll in reality be 2 ohms when wired up that way instead of series mode? (remember I know SQUAT about car audio)

Also, how should I wire up the amp? This stuff is already wired up w/ the two 10's, but I got that installed at Circuit City and I don't know what the guy did. I was planning on just cloning the way he wired it with the new subs, do you think that'd be ok?

If anyone might be able to do a quick wiring diagram w/ that amp and the subs that I should use I'd GREATLY appreciate it, or if you could tell me some stuff to do, etc. Or if I should just clone the current wiring.

Oh, and I don't even know exactly what "bridging" an amplifier means, lol. (as you can tell I've never messed w/ audio stuff) so if you say I should bridge this and that please make a quick diagram for me in paint or somethin Or provide a good explanation.

Ok. That amp is 2 ohm stable, but only in stereo mode. As soon as you bridge two channels together, you are in mono mode and the amp is only 4 ohm stable. So the amp is 4 ohm stable in 2 channels. Follow me?

Since your woofers have a 4 ohm impedence, I suggest bridging two channels together for each woofer. Using all 4 channels total. Follow me? Bridging an amp is easy. Just use the negative from 1 channel and the positve from the second channel. Then run a little jumper wire from the remaining positive and negative terminals. Got it? If not, just lemme know.

Simply put.

1 sub bridged on front
1 sub bridged on rear

That's about it.

But he said that he didn't know what "bridging" meant. So I kinda had to break it down. And I have NO idea what the hell blackz is trying to say......

I'm with you on that. But most amps have bridging instructions with them or even on the actual amp.
