Planned system

My setup will include the following

JBL P80.4 (4X40W@4ohms)
JBL BP300.1 (1X300W@2ohms)
MA Audio MA112XI (Dual 4ohm coil 300W RMS)
4 Kicker 02K65
SubThump Fiberglass driver's side stealth box.

Help fill in the blanks:

HU? (Probably Panasonic, I like the way they look.)
Wires?
Crossovers?

HU - get whatever you like. I'm not a big fan of panasonic, but I haven't heard any bad things about the upper end models.

Wiring - I got just about all my speaker wire and RCA wires from Radioshack; gold connectors where available. Local audio shop for the power wiring and wiring harness.

Crossovers - Nearly every amp and decent HU has built in crossovers.

I think the JBL amps are good for the money. They aren't anything top end, but you can't beat those prices.

I don't know anything about that sub, but from the looks of it, it'll do just fine.

Speakers - Are you set on Kickers? I'm not a fan of them at all. Sure it's personal preference, but I've yet to hear ANY type of Kicker speakers/subs that I have been impressed with.

If you let me know your budget, I could find you some speakers I would recommend.

I am not set on those speakers. I would like to pay less than 200 for all four. I really don't need components. Are the back seat speakers as important as the door speakers sound wise? Some people on here have said they don't use the back seat speakers at all.

Would this be a better combo
Door: Alpine SPR-174A (104.99/pair)
Back Seat: Alpine SPS-170A (59.99/pair)

This would cost about the same as the Kickers all the way around. Would this be a better choice.

When you buy your HU just stay away from Kenwood. They SUCK!! On the other hand, I have had real good luck with Panasonic HUs.
