Pioneer DEH-P77DH fitment

According to Cruthfield's online fitment guide, the Pioneer DEH-P77DH (as well as the 47DH sister model) do not fit my 1995 Camaro.

"This item is NOT recommended for your vehicle"

and

"The item does not fit the vehicle specified!"

Should I be worried? What is the reason for this? I assume people have these excellent GM-sized head units in their 4th gens.

BS. I've had the P47DH in both my Zs and it fits like it's stock. The 77 is pretty much the same thing as the 47.

Also, you will need a PAC OEM harness if you currently have a Bose system in the car.

Re: Pioneer DEH-P77DH fitment

Hey thanks a lot! I couldn't think of a reason it wouldn't work. That's probably because there wasn't one. Guess I can feel free to pick up one of these when I get around to it.

I've done the Crutchfield route with my 93 Caprice ($300 back in 01, and still costs the same today, for the P77DH) but I don't think I need to do that again. I have seen plenty on ebay under $200. Even cheaper used. Is there a good place to get the proper harness and antenna adapter thing? Or just ebay for that, too?

Any P47s on ebay for under 200 are either used, returns, or refurbished. I say this because dealer cost is more than that. So be careful, some of that stuff seems a little shady to me.
