Post What to use other than alcohol to remove old wax

I used Mothers about 4 months back and that crap dried and I can't get it out for anything. I tried using a toothbrush and hot water. I also tried using alcohol and a rag. The alcohol started taking the paint off and turning the rag blue/green. The car looks great when freshily washed but these wax spots have got to go. What else can I use?

Thumbs up

Dawn, Joy, or any other hand-dishwashing liquid... ("cuts through grease and oil" remember? )

Yep, use Dawn, the blue stuff. I just did it yesterday because my Zaino arrived. I gotta say that I used to be impressed with how the wax I used made my car bead when it was wet. WELL, I washed it with Dawn and it just looked like one dull sheet of water when I rinsed it, guaranteed there was no wax left.
