options for replacing factory bose sub

I have a 94 with the factory bose setup with the sub. well, that was relly good technology for 94 in a stock car, but that thing hits absolutely no low bass at all. I'm looking for something nice and small to replace that bose unit, and it needs to fit in the area where the factory bose is. I'm not looking for an equivilence of two 10's or whatever, just somethign small that will fit in its place while having a bit more of a range. my buddies factory infinity system in his dodge truck blows mine out of the water. so for a quick recap... i want something small, and better than stock. I don't really want a full sub setup since I don't have a desire for all that junk in my trunk. anybody have any ideas??

Mid-bass drivers. Good Ones. Lots of Power. Sealed Doors.

as cheap as possible. I'm not after a whole lot, but i know anything sounds better in car with a hatch, so i don't need much. i'm pleased with the bass in my mom's new g6 WITHOUT the monsoon system. i just hate the factory bose sub because it is very one demensional. only hits decent at all on the highs. I'm looking for something i don't need much of an amp for at all, better than stock, and must fit in the factory location
