Only Bass in the Sail Panel Speakers??
My T/A has the 10 speaker sound system (not Bose), and for some reason the speakers in the sail panels by the rear seats dont work well. They seem to only push out low frequencies. Are these supposed to be subwoofers or something?? Is there a low-pass filter somwhere that I can remove and use them as regular speakers?? I've tried new speakers and they did the same thing, so there has to be a filter somehwere because I have a new head unit in the car. Thanks for any help.

The speakers in the sail panels are what GM calls subwoofers (HA what a joke!). They are crossed over inside the factory amp so unless you have a schematic for the amp you cannot do anything about it.

Where is the factory amp located?? I was under the impression that the amp was in the stock radio... When I put a new radio in my last car (thunderbird), Crutchfield had me take out the factory amp. Should I do that with this car, I do have a 200W radio in it??

Yeah, the amp was mounted next to the passenger rear seat. I got a schematic for the amp plug from someone's website and proceeded to "re-wire" the whole thing. I unplugged that little amp totally and connected the middle speakers to the amp source wires that come from the rears. Now all rear speakers work with regular sound coming out, and I'm gonna get some nice replacement ones to go in there.

Thanks for the wiring diagram!!!
This will really help me out a lot, since I bought mine secondhand, and the guy lost the wiring color code card.
This webpage doesn't say anything about a schematic though, any idea how I can get one and wiring it in?
