Factory CD player
Factory CD player
Hey I have a 97 Z28, the factory cd player is gone i think. I loaded a CD and now it doesnt want to eject or play it. It worked before, so I assume something is up with my cd player. Now I have an extended warranty on the car, but Im not sure if it'll cover the CD player, but Im going to try tomorrow. But if it cant, my question is what kind of cd player is in my car, like bose. I have the 2 speakers in the door, 2 in the pillar and 2 in the trunk, does that mean its a bose?? or how do i find out? the player itself just says Delco electronics on the front. If it is I'd need to buy something to adapt my speakers to an after market player? and what system looks good in there, I was thinking one of those with those fold out LCD screens. do any of you have pics of an after market cd player installed? thank you
Sounds like the monsoon system to me. Yes yes. I know your headunit doesn't say "monsoon" on it, but you have a 97'. Many headunits did not say monsoon on it in 97'. Don't ask me why. They just didn't. A quick way to check would be to look for the factory amp. It's on the passenger side, next to the spare tire. It's a little black square box. No adapter is needed to change out the factory headunit. And you got money for a foldout LCD screen? We're talking $1.5k here.....
