For me LEDs are a must to stop me from accidentally leaving the fans on.
I thought about doing that, but I hadn't had any problems leaving stuff on so knock on wood, hopefully I won't run my battery dead. Only thing though is that do you notice a voltage drop when you turn the high fans on?

Yes I do notice a voltage drop for a second as soon as i turn them on high. They must draw a decent amount of current...

thanks, but too late now Already got the fan installed. I used two 47ohm 1/2 w resistors on the high speed fan and one resistor on the low speed. If it blows, then I'll switch it.
