No sound at all after new cd player install...
I put in an aftermarket Pioneer and everything works right except I have no sound at all from any speaker in the car. 1994 Camaro Z28 with factory Bose. I've checked all the wires to make sure I have them spliced right and they are. Any ideas?
I believe this relates to the setup you have in your car:

Yep, if I remember correctly it should be pink. Bose will work without any adapter with aftermarket HU, people running like that for years, however it is not recommended - you can fry your HU due to overloading.
Hooking up the remote wire/ant. wire to the jumper for the bose amp will work.
BUT...you're WAY overpowering your system that way. I did this in my car for about a month and I had very little volume control. My volume goes from 1 to like 40 on my alpine HU, and when hooking it up this way I drove around with it no higher than 4 or 5. Will easily blow the speakers this way, too.
Good luck.

the easy fix for this especially if you have a headunit with higher voltage preouts is to splice rca connectors onto the speaker wires coming from the car harness and plug them into the appropriate rca jack on the radio... if i am unclear on how this is done i can specify more

yes I have on a number of bose cars, alot of bose camaros and mid 90s nissans, always works great. Sometimes if you have low voltage preouts or a crappy radio there just wont be enough power out of the preouts and you will max the volume **** and the speakers wont be breaking up. Generally speaking this works great I used to do it all the time
