Exclamation No sound

I just hooked up my Rockford 8210 HU and im getting ZERO sound out of the speakers. To make sure the HU was working properly i got a speaker i had laying around and hooked up my Front + and Front - wires on my HU to the speaker and everything worked fine. So sound isnt getting to the speakers in my car. I have the aftermarket GM harness that i got from a friend.. it has an orange wire that isnt hooked up to anything, and i believe there is a pink wire missing from harness aswell.

I have no kind of converter hooked up its just, HU harness, to GM aftermarket harness, connected to GM stock harness.

Please help me!

if I'm not mistaken, you are suppose to have some type of adapter if you have the bose system in your car. Also, I think the Bose speakers are 1 ohm, might be 2, so I'm not sure if the HU can handle such a low impedence. Where's LS1RULZ at? Prolly spending too much time at caraudioplanet.com

The Amps are mounted at the speaker, so there's one per speaker. the hiss is from the fact that the signal is amped at the hu and at the bose amp. I don't know about the adapter. this would be a good excuse to replace the factory speakers. Good Luck

If i replaced the stock speakers with aftermarket ones, would i have to buy an amp? if not would it not sound as good as the stock?

Im about to put in a 10in kenwood sub with a 700 watt amp. any suggestions?
