Secondly, the monsoon amps clips when it's going to clip and the stock HU I'm betting can push the stock monsoon amp into distortion. If that is the case then the aftermarket radio isn't going to change anything.
A lot of people seem to be fooled into thinking the whole line driver thing is made to try to get more output out of an amp, it's there for one reason and it's for the reduction of noise in the system. The amp does not work on the idea of more power into the input stage means more power on the output stage.
