New Setup..What do you think??
Ok, well I've had enough of my stock Bose. My Bose Cd player is start to show some age/problems too. So I decided to start looking around for a new setup. What do you guys think of this?
HU:Alpine CDA-9807
Amp:Alpine MRV-F450-5 Channel 50x40+200x1
Speakers:Alpine SPS 170A-At all four corners
Amp Rack and Sub Box from SubThump
Sub:Alpine SWR-1041D Type R
I'm not sure on what patch cords I'm going to get. You may ask why all Alpine, well one I love Alpine and two I'm going to get a killer deal on this stuff.
Also, I noticed the SubThump stealth box is rated to .5cuFT, and that's the minimum for the Type R sub. Will this sub work fine in this box? Thanks for any advice.

I would go with the R Series speakers up front. The S series will be just fine for the back.
The SPR-176A is the component set and the SPR-174A is the coaxial set. The 176 will give you more flexability on your front stage because you will be able to mount the tweeters indepentantly of the mid and at any necessary angle.
I like Alpine myself...
Just don't get a big sticker on your window that says //////ALPINE. You might as well get a sticker that says "Steal me!"

Alpines are good speakers, but I like the Infinity Kappa's better. Don't get me wrong, Alpine makes good amps and head units but when it comes to speakers nothing beats Infinity.

I have to disagee also... Infinitys are great but theres a lot of speakers out there and a lot that are higher quality than Infinity and also everyone hears differently, so whats awesome to you may sound just OK to someone else.
