Last I checked those Rockford Decks were made by Jensen, some models by Hyundai... Either way they are NOT on the same level of Alpine, Eclipse... etc. Take a look at Nakimichi if you want something differnet thats really good... low on flashy stuff but sick sound quality.....

I have heard mixed reviews on the Naks. People say they are headed downhill. If you are looking for something with over 4V preouts, you could buy a line driver. Try www.rwaudio.com . You can pick up a high quality one for under $100. If you still want a new unit, try the Pioneer Premier 940MP. If gives you 6V RCAs and 6-channel time correction.

Alpine 9815 too will give you that but only 4v outs....

The Naks are 5v out...

i cant find nakimichi stuff anywhere....and ive never heard of them until now....I didnt know the rockford decks were made by jenson good thing you told me....I hate jenson.....so no way....It really looks like Alpine has a lock on top of the line decks....I was just looking for something different but just as good quality wise.....so it looks like its either a new alpine or a new eclipse......probably alpine...unless i can get the eclipse flagship model cheap on ebay....out of using the 2 decks Ive decided the Eclipse cd player plays alot better the alpine wont play any of my cds without skipping them....their all scratched but the eclipse played EVERYTHING

Eclipse is great I just think ESN is completely retarded and their reasoning behind it is BS. Youre very limited at that point and worse off, if something happens to the radio the crap you have to go through to get a "new" (refurbished) one from them is too damn much. Sorry but the thieves in my area dont give a crap if you need a "key disc"

And youre still driving around with no tunes waiting for eclipse to ship you a new one after they verify your warranty get copies of your police report (yeah you need to file a police report to prove it) and recipt, and so on.

Meanwhile with a detachable face as long as youre not dumb enough to leave it in the center console or something they wont even bother to break into the car to take it.
