Go here www.highwaymp3.com and read all about the San Jose and other Blau MP3 units. Ike Sound sells them for around $225 on E-bay, IIRC.

Cool

Yeah dude, ebay all the way. My rule is I only bid on stuff from sellers with more then a 10:1 positive to negative feedback, with a minimum rating of 20. Usually the "power sellers" have better buys though, but it's almost always a LOT cheaper to go through ebay. The 1 time I got scammed ($300) I told paypal (the service I use) and they got me every penny back, even though the guy I sent it to by the time they did was no longer an ebay member, no longer registered with paypal, and tried to run off with my dough.

If you have the Bose system, then you will need the adapter so the Blau will work with the Bose. Do a search for Bose and you'll probably find the name and part # for the adapter.

Instead of the head unit providing the power, each speaker in the Bose system has an amp that provides the power to run the speaker. An aftermarket head unit is not compatible with this system unless you rewire and replace the speakers. If you don't want to do that, you will need the adapter. If you don't have the Bose system, then it is a plug and play. You just need the wiring harness and mounting kit, but you'll need them anyway.

Your car is a F-body, isn't it? There's nothing out of the ordinary about the San Jose that I know of. You need the proper wiring harness and mounting kit. Look here: www.installdr.com
