Me and my friend are about to put in my cd player and when I got the left piece of trim off the dash area it came off pretty easy but the right side seems like it doesnt want to come out. It almost sounds like it has tape or something stuck on it to keep it in place....... should I just go ahead and pull or am I going to brake the trim?

 

Try peeling it from one corner and see if that helps, might give you a better idea of what's holding it. I've used some thick double sided roofing tape, I think, in order to keep a trim piece from rattling. Your's may be the same.
