Ok, got a new pioneer headunit, kind of like the premier but not. I need to know something. If i get a gm wiring harness and put on all the wires, and plug it in, is it going to work with the stock amp? i hooked all the wires correctly, but didnt utilize the harness because everyone was closed, so i just butt connected them, but i know it is correct. Now, it was hooked up correctly and this is what happened: the hu turns on and i hear a click in the back of the car, which i assume is the monsoon amp getting a pulse and turning on. Then sound comes out of only the front right speakers. Then if i turn up the volume to a certain point, and the point isnt very high, it forces the monsoon amp to turn off. Then if i wait without turning up the volume, the amp turns off anyway.
I dont know what to do.

Can someone tell me how to utilize the stock amp with this new headunit?

You need the PAC OEM-1 adapter to use an aftermarket head unit with the monsoon system
